Samana is one of the most pristine areas of Dominican Republic and perhaps the best kept secret on the island. Samaná offers everything you need to feel part of the wildest nature. Samaná is the largest city with about 51,000 inhabitants.

Most of the province's economy revolves around the beach destinations Las Terrenas, Las Galeras, Portillo, Cosón, Playa Rincon and Playa Bonita, without taking any merit to the waterfall Salto El Limon. Samaná is a province that impresses with its contrasts of green hills and white sand beaches. It is a large peninsula with over 850 km2, much more than most Caribbean islands, so there is plenty to explore, including coconut plantation by the world's largest square meters! Moreover, the rapid growth of shops, restaurants and entertainment make it a more attractive destination.
